Originally used by pirates as a base for their attacks on merchant ships in the Gulf of Mexico, the Dry Tortugas National Park is a must do trip when visiting Key West. The islands offer excellent beaches, some of the best snorkeling in the country, an abundance of bird life and the history of Fort Jefferson, a military prison during the Civil War, dating back to the mid 1800’s. Sea Planes of Key West use Cessna amphibious aircraft with two models in operation, the 206 which takes 5 passengers or the 208 which will hold up to 9 passengers. Because of the popularity and limited availability on these trips, early booking is highly recommended. This airline has a 100% safety record and operates every day of the year, except Christmas Day. If the pilot should have to cancel because of bad weather you can either reschedule or you will be entitled to a full refund. Half day offshore and reef fishing charters start at $450.00 for a maximum of 6 people. Experienced, local captains will make sure you get the best fishing out of your 4 hour trip and all fishing equipment, bait and licenses are included. The boats have coolers so you can bring along your own refreshments or we can organize boxed lunches and drinks for your added convenience. Your catch will be cleaned, filleted and even stored if required. A shuttle service from your hotel may be available and should be requested at the time of booking.

Morning, Afternoon or Night Dives available with an experienced, reputable local dive center who offer wreck and reef or 2 site reef dives every afternoon and 2 site wreck and 2 site reef dives each morning.  Dives cost $55.00 for the trip only, $71.00 for the trip with weights and tanks and $85.00 for trip with full equipment rental.  Wetsuits are available for an additional $10.00.   Instruction is available with details upon request.
